Komunikat Prasowy
Boulogne Billancourt, January 27, 2026 – As part of the deployment of its Individual System (IS) dedicated to the treatment of End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs), Renault Group announces the signing of a partnership with Derichebourg Environnement, a French player recognized in the ELV sector among the most efficient in the recycling market. The signing of the partnership took place on Monday 26 January, in the presence of Fabien Payzan, Director of Network Strategy at Renault France, Claire Cazalis, Director of Extended Producer Responsibility at Renault Group, Thomas Derichebourg, Managing Director of Derichebourg Environnement, Sébastien Paul, CSR Manager at Derichebourg Environnement and Christine Ribeiro, Head of EPR[3] at Derichebourg Environnement.
A STRENGTHENED TERRITORIAL NETWORK
Renault Group's Individual System is based on a simple principle: to combine two high-performance players, the ELV centre (CVHU) which collects and depollutes end-of-life vehicles and produces reusable parts, and the recycling facility which guarantees the production of recycled materials thanks to high-level separation technologies. The association of these two actors makes it possible to maximise recycling and recovery rates, guarantee better traceability of flows, optimise the dismantling and recovery of parts and materials.
To guarantee compliant, homogeneous and efficient care of ELVs from brands managed under the IS, Renault Group has joined forces with Derichebourg to expand the network partner recycling facilities. Thanks to this agreement, 40 CVHUs in the Derichebourg network have signed Renault Group's ELV IS contract, significantly strengthening the capacity to collect, decontaminate and dismantle end-of-life vehicles in compliance with regulatory requirements.
In addition to collection and decontamination, achieving the recycling and recovery rates required by regulations is based on the quality of the entire chain, including industrial recycling operations. In this context, 20 facilities from the Derichebourg group have signed the Renault Group's IS shredder contract. Their performance in terms of sorting and recycling materials will make it possible to achieve, or even exceed, the objectives set by the public authorities[4].
In total, Renault Group's Individual System will now be able to rely on the expertise of 500 recycling facilities in France (including 480 ELV centers and 20 shredding facilities), in addition to the existing network of partners which relies on INDRA Automobile Recycling, the leading network in France for ELV management.
THE RENAULT GROUP IS, A SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE DEVICE
The system remains simple and free of charge for individuals, within the framework provided for by law. Individuals can:
The partner ELV centres manage the decontamination, dismantling and sorting with a view to reusing parts or recycling by qualified players who comply with the regulations in force. In addition, they trace all the vehicles they receive, ensure the marking of parts from the dismantling operations and the traceability of the carcasses to a recycling site, which is also efficient. It is the complementarity of the performance of these two players, ELV centres and recycling site, that guarantees the achievement of the European reuse and recovery objectives. This scheme makes it possible to make a significant and sustainable contribution to environmental issues in France.
